When it comes to moving house, it is always a bright idea to enlist the expertise of high quality furniture removalists in Melbourne. Before move day however, it is advisable that you take time and care in packing your belongings; especially those that fall into the category of high fragility and value. When it comes to items that are particularly irreplaceable, such as antiques, there are some things you can do to ensure maximum protection. For moving items, strong packing boxes are vital, as many of your items will wind up stored in one of these. If an item is particularly delicate, it is a good idea to wrap it in bubble wrap before placing it in. A good tip to ensure extra protection is to grab some packing tape and reinforce the bottom of the box with it. Hollow items should be filled with scrunched up newspaper and then placed in a box, filled with styrofoam peanuts or crumpled paper, which in turn is placed into the larger packing boxes. Large flat items such mirrors and paintings should be put into adjustable boxes, available from professional moving supply companies. These boxes are flat and designed to keep the items from getting damaged. Finally, don't forget to let your removalists know which boxes are fragile, and they can be labeled and treated accordingly. I am currently looking for a furniture removalist since my grandma wants to transfer all her antique items to her new property that I bought her. With that, I’ll take your advice to cover it in a bubble wrap before placing it in box for extra protection. Hopefully, I can find one here in Central Coast that’s available next week.
